Andrew earned his CA designation in 2002 and Bachelor of Business Administration in 2000 at the Schulich School of Business, York University; in addition, he completed an international business study in Copenhagen, Denmark. He has been a Vancouverite since 2007 when he relocated here to work on the 2010 Olympic Games. Subsequently, he became Intrawest’s manager of hospitality operations finance. His financial planning and analysis career has spanned real estate, urban planning banking and auditing industries. However he has most enjoyed working with and helping operational colleagues. To that end, he combined this with both his passion for community building and strong financial background to assist his fellow Vancouverites and international investors make informed real estate decisions.
Andrew maintains a regular yoga and meditation practice at Yyoga and continues to volunteer his time with the community. He is also becoming more active in Vancouver’s Jewish community, building similar roots here to those he has in Toronto. He maintains his CA designation and continues to associate with his professional colleagues and keep abreast of changes in the profession, and looks forward to be able to help their property needs. As a self admitted foodie, Andrew is constantly looking for new restaurants, cafés and other local small business to patronize and enjoys seeing how they can anchor existing and new communities. Finally, Andrew’s theater education still inspires him to support Vancouver’s thriving theater and arts scene, a hallmark of an ideal city.
